About Chants Amusement

Chants Amusements is a family-owned mobile amusement operator based in Melbourne, Victoria, providing rides and entertainment for fairs, festivals, and family events across Australia. As they expanded operations, Chants partnered with Metrix to modernize their website and migrate their business onto the Metrix App — helping them better manage bookings, assets, and event coordination.

Challenges

Despite strong community presence, Chants Amusements faced challenges in both their customer-facing and internal operations:

  • Outdated Website – The existing website lacked energy, color, and structure — especially for their primary audience: families and children.

  • Low Engagement & Traffic – Poor visuals and UX led to decreased site visits and minimal online bookings.

  • Manual Job Management – Event scheduling and asset coordination were handled manually, increasing admin workload and risk of errors.

  • Limited Data Visibility – Without a centralized system, tracking bookings, ride status, and event assignments was difficult.

Approach

Metrix set out to solve both sides of the business: a public-facing website that would attract more families, and an internal system (via the Metrix App) that would bring order and efficiency to mobile operations. The dual approach allowed Chants Amusements to scale with confidence and consistency.

Strategy & Execution

The project involved design, system integration, and workflow transformation:

  • Vibrant Website Redesign – We developed a bright, child-friendly layout with interactive ride showcases and clear service info.

  • Booking-Driven UX – The new site encouraged customer engagement and simplified the inquiry process.

  • SEO Optimization – On-page SEO and structured content improved visibility in local search results.

  • Metrix App Integration – All rides, jobs, and crew scheduling were moved into the app for real-time management and operational clarity.

  • Event & Asset Coordination – Jobs are now assigned through the Metrix App, allowing the team to view booking history, track ride availability, and streamline event setup.
