Solar Air Energy is a family-owned energy company based in Australia that provides solar, air-conditioning, and electrical services. The company approached Metrix to help develop a strong digital presence, despite lacking existing customer data.
One of the major challenges for Solar Air Energy was the tight budget and small workforce, which made it difficult to develop a strong digital strategy. Metrix had to document and streamline the company’s operations to create guides for new hires. Additionally, building a legacy in the industry and guaranteeing quality work was a challenge. Nonetheless, after spending around 12 weeks developing a strategy and backlogging key objectives, Metrix started work on the project.
Metrix approached the Solar Air Energy project with a customer-first mindset, beginning with the discovery phase. We determined that keeping a simple, easy-to-understand navigation was key, as well as providing solutions that made a significant difference to the technicians receiving job details and communicated work orders to the administrative team. The mission was to use simple design and integrate the website with both job enquiring, booking, and management software.
The project was done in three phases. First, Metrix developed the company’s digital messaging, including the brand, color, and tone of voice. Next, the entire website was recreated and integrated with a software solution to streamline daily processes. This included developing custom software to track jobs, staff, and new work orders. Finally, a marketing plan was developed to tie everything together and generate an audience for the website.
Within three months, Solar Air Energy almost tripled in size, and leads started pouring in. Metrix has a strong 2022 planned with the company and is excited about its future. By developing a strong digital presence and streamlining daily processes, Solar Air Energy can now guarantee quality work and build a legacy in the industry.
